The Tango, besides being a passionate dance, has also other meanings. It is associated with parting, death, and sadness. After a Tango, portrays these elements, without any attempt to follow the gestures of the traditional dance. Nevertheless, the attentive listener will discover fragments and reminiscences of the Argentinean Tango. The instrumentation, suggests Tango sonorities, thanks to the violin, guitar, double bass and percussion. In addition, a consort of three recorders acts as a Greek Chorus, which reflects the music played by the other instruments.
